After yesterday's History and Theory session, I felt fairly despondent - realising as much as David Harvey considers there to exist a 'tripartite of space' he also considers there to be a tripartite of society. He seems to acknowledge only Capitalists/Neo-Liberals, their opposition in Marxist sympathists and the rest of the World (i.e. the Public)...
He seems to think the public can dissolve current unstable capitalism but through the education provided by heavily socialist-leaners.
I'll further explore his solutions to the re-stabilisation of our economic systems which he (as do I) consider unsustainable in anything more than the immediate future...
Will post a quick summation of what I find out about his solution but should anyone want to hear his bit, check out the video below (should help explain current world financial situation - Louise)...
